NEGURA BUNGET have always been a unique and fascinating band. Epic Romanian folk black metal, shrouded in a dense atmosphere and full of dynamic, organic energy. Although I see "Om" as their unreached masterpiece and neither NEUGURA BUNGET nor Hupogrammos' Dordeduh created such incredible magic again, "Zău" is a worthy final chapet which won't disappoint any fan. Rest in peace!

"For two albums of pretty much the same songs, Măiastru Sfetnic and Măiestrit still manage to sound pretty distinct, with some of the music being re-imagined rather than merely re-recorded, so in a way this re-recording completents rather than replaces the original. I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately.
